We understand that visual processing difficulties can make everyday tasks—such as reading, working, or even navigating the environment—more challenging. That’s why we offer a carefully selected range of visual aids designed to reduce visual stress and support more comfortable, effective visual experiences.

What Are Visual Aids?

Visual aids are tools and technologies that help reduce the strain on the eyes and brain caused by visual processing challenges. Unlike traditional aids for people with sight loss, our tools are aimed at individuals with conditions such as:

  • Irlen Syndrome
  • Dyslexia
  • Visual stress
  • Other visual processing differences

These aids can improve concentration, reduce headaches and fatigue, and make reading or screen use more accessible.

Our Range of Visual Aids Includes:

🔹 Coloured Overlays

These transparent coloured sheets can be placed over text to reduce distortion, glare, or movement on the page. Available in a range of colours, they are ideal for children and adults who experience discomfort or difficulty when reading black text on white paper.

🔹 Tinted Lenses and Colourimetry Testing

Through our specialist colourimetry assessment, we can help identify a precise tint that works best for your individual needs. Tinted glasses or clip-ons may significantly improve reading comfort and clarity for those with Irlen Syndrome or similar conditions.

🔹 Anti-Glare and Screen Filters

For people who experience discomfort when looking at digital screens, we offer screen overlays and filters that reduce glare, brightness, and visual overstimulation.

🔹 Large Print and High-Contrast Resources

Our resources are designed with accessibility in mind. We offer high-contrast materials, alternative font styles, and other supportive formats that reduce cognitive load and improve visual clarity.

🔹 Task Lighting and Reading Lamps

Lighting can make a big difference. We offer adjustable lighting solutions that help reduce eye strain and improve visual focus during reading or close-up work.

Personalised Support

Every person’s needs are different. We provide one-to-one consultations to help identify the visual aids that will work best for you. Whether you’re a student, professional, or simply want to enjoy reading again, our team is here to support you.
